Description Looking for an opportunity to make an impact? The Leidos National Security Sector is seeking an experienced Lead Web Developer to lead a team in designing and developing a new intelligence discovery website for a government agency. The role involves collaborating with government leads and stakeholders to define project requirements, conducting technical and industrial research, and ensuring system compatibility with all customer dissemination applications. The ideal candidate will have a BS in software engineering or a related field, experience with front-end and back-end technologies, and a strong background in web development. An active Top Secret security clearance is required. What does Leidos need from me? Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph. BS in software engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent experience with 10 plus years in software development, technology management, software engineering or a related field; or eight plus years of experience with master's degree. Experience with front-end technologies/frameworks (e.g., Angular, React), to include HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Object Notation. Experience with backend development using Node.js, or equivalent technologies. Experience with database design and development (e.g., SQL, NoSQL), and familiarity with search technologies (e.g., Elasticsearch, Solr). Experience overseeing web site development and presenting overview briefings and updates to government leads, partners, and customers; reporting on progress at performance improvement meetings; and identifying opportunities for increase effectiveness, efficiency, scale, and impact. Experience in the identification and mitigation of any issues or trends that pose a risk to project priorities. Favorable if you have: Experience managing a software development team through a government ATO process. Experience developing unclassified software for configuration in a classified environment.
