* Assists the Production Manager responsible for the operation of an assigned area in terms of production, quality, cost, delivery, technical application(s), safety, and human resources, while focusing on defined goals * Responsible for the day-to-day management of people within operations and ensures company's targets, objectives, and customer requirements are met * Strives for continuous improvement by using Lean tools to reduce costs, improve production, and promote quality * Plans and executes the production schedule while providing supervision and direction to production team leaders and operators * Allocates resources to ensure minimum downtime and the completion of scheduled activities through prioritizing and managing team's workload * Conducts safety and onboarding training with new employees * May include some people management and reporting requirements in addition to machinery setup and basic programming * Coordinates and monitors the fulfillment of all legal and internal requirements regarding Health, Safety and Environment * Leads by example and line with the Freudenberg Guiding Principles and the Code of Conduct, while developing employees, driving Talent Acquisition and Management processes, and fostering a proactive work culture Qualificationsarrow_right * Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related fie * Proven experience in a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a management role preferable as a Shift Manager or Production Supervisor * Strong leadership and team management skills, with ability to foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment * Excellent understanding of production processes, quality control, and operational efficiency in a manufacturing setting * Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, drive continuous improvement, and achieve production targets * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and ability to make data-driven decisions * * Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while serving as a sparring partner to internal/external stakeholders. Fosters teamwork between employees and across the organization. * Value for Customers: Drives a customer-oriented business strategy and provides indispensable support to deliver successful outcomes. * Innovation: Envisions the impact of potential future trends and proactively drives necessary changes.
