Sodexo has an opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional to join the team as a Human Resources Manager 2 at St. Francis Medical Center located in Monroe, LA and Our Lady of Angels in Bogalusa, LA. The selected candidate will manage and provide support to hourly front-line staff and management on all Sodexo policies and procedures, training, and HR initiatives. Some responsibilities may include; labor management, employee engagement, payroll, leave of absence, workers compensation documentation, employee relations investigations and documentation, recruitment and on-boarding new employees, performance and evaluations, and client relations. The successful candidate will: * support Human Resources functions for front-line staff * manage the application/resume file; * recruit with a focus on front-line recruiting; * manage payroll set-up and problem resolutions; * present HR related training for unit managers; * communicate effectively and build relationships with multiple levels of the organization; including clients, executives, managers and front-line staff; * demonstrate strong verbal, written and presentation skills; and/or * have a solid understanding of HR functions and all policies and procedures.
