Daydreamer is hiring an Assistant Fashion Designer
Responsibilities
Assist with design of our collection including cut-n-sew, garment dye knits, tees, fleece, pants, graphic tees and solid fashion basics
Trend research
Product Development
Sourcing fabrics, washes, trims
Maintain relationships with vendors and find new ones when necessary
Design new silhouettes
Work with patternmaker and sample room
Lab dips
Maintain strict deadlines
Communicate effectively
Cads
Costing
Qualifications
3 years experience minimum in t-shirt designing (assistant or designer level)
Adobe creative suite proficiency
Experience in domestic apparel costing and production methods
Experience in graphic tees is a must
Must have a strong ability to cad graphics on bodies in photoshop
