We are looking for a Senior Director, Sales to join our dynamic, entrepreneurial and innovative sales team in our New York City office. Responsibilities: ● Leverage Sales Expertise: Utilize your direct sales experience and established network of client marketing decision-makers to position and sell data-driven linear and CTV solutions to television advertisers and their agencies, aiming to exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. ● Articulate Value Propositions: Clearly convey the benefits of Simulmedia's offerings to senior client and agency stakeholders, focusing on the "why" rather than just the "how." ● Business Development: Actively prospect, contact, and develop new business accounts. ● Communication: Regularly update sales management on account progress and strategic insights. ● Client Consultation: Work closely with agency and client contacts to leverage Simulmedia's tools and resources, ensuring premium video advertising solutions that drive scalable renewals. ● Industry Representation: Attend relevant trade shows and conferences to represent Simulmedia alongside our team. Qualifications: ● Experience: Over 7 years in CTV sales, national TV sales, and/or advertising agencies, with a strong background in media buying and advertising technology platforms. At least 3 years of experience leading sales teams. ● Client Engagement: Proven experience working with direct marketing contacts and agency partners. ● Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in data-driven advertising media sales, preferably video, with a focus on strategic target audience reach to drive business outcomes. ● Relationships: Established connections with key decision-makers at direct-to-consumer advertisers and their ad agencies. ● Sales Acumen: Confidence in independently selling to senior decision-makers, with a track record of growing and renewing accounts. ● Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, outgoing, organized, efficient, and a strategic thinker with strong social engineering skills. ● Analytical Skills: A genuine intellectual curiosity and ability to analyze data to gain a deeper understanding of media/advertising and clients' business needs. ● Presentation Skills: Comfortable and successful in presenting to mid- and large-size audiences. ● Technical Knowledge: Experience with programmatic CTV advertising opportunities is a plus. We're required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances of each case, but a reasonable estimate of the current base range for this role is $175,000 - $185,000. Note that this range is specific to national metro areas and that offers take into account a wide variety of potential factors considered in compensation, including but not limited to skill, qualifications, accomplishments, experience, credentials, and business needs.
