We're excited you are considering us to enhance your college and internship experience. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and is based out of our corporate offices in Bloomington, IL. Responsibilities: * Conducts research on issues, policies, and regulations on agricultural production, especially livestock. * Drafts graphs, written briefs and comments, newsletter articles, and online posts using relevant research and input. * Attends and assists with agricultural related meetings to expand knowledge base and compiles summaries or issue briefs on meeting topics. * Researches and drafts white papers on specific agricultural production issues or policies. * Coordinates materials and communications for issues meetings and state-wide summer conference. * Assists in planning and coordinating events. Requirements: * Exceptional oral and written communication skills. (Writing samples preferred with application). * Strong research skills and critical/analytical thinking ability. * Must be independent and self-motivated but also have the ability to work with other people on a variety of tasks. * Education or background in agriculture a must. * Interest or education in public policy a plus. Additional Information: * This is a paid internship, available to current college students. * To be eligible for an internship, candidates must be pursuing a degree for the duration of the internship. * This internship is for summer 2025.
