This position serves as an O365 Email Systems Administrator an systems analyst for the PIM Engineering Unit. In this role you will serve as the primary support and systems analyst for assigned applications utilizing programming and scripting languages (PowerShell, HTML/HTTP). In addition, you will serves as system administrator on assigned PIM systems and projects. PowerShell, Mobile Device Management solutions, eFax solutions, Email Perimeter solutions, Enterprise Network tools used for Anti-virus and SP AM protection. * Plans, creates, tests, and implements new system configurations, applications, and customized scripting to assist with automation of Agency Active Directory and Exchange email processes and to enhance customer facing utilities and applications related to PIM. * Performs specialized duties in the implementation and management of PIM email systems and applications utilizing programing and scripting languages, PowerShell. * Follows agency adopted system design methodology ensuring integrity, that each system meets the required standards of security, efficiency, and the scope of the specific project utilizing Office products, MS Azure, AD, and Remote-control tools. 30% Serves as the primary support and systems analyst for assigned applications utilizing programming and scripting languages (PowerShell, .Net, HTML/HTTP): * Provides troubleshooting and maintenance services for enterprise email systems utilizing Microsoft Enterprise Exchange on premise, 0365, and email client administration, Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, PowerShell. * Assists in facilitating migration activities, diagnoses, analyzes, repairs programming and software problems utilizing PowerShell, .Net, HTML/HTTP). * Performs scheduled and remedial maintenance and nightly tasks. * Schedules processes. * Reviews history or processed jobs and responds appropriately to any abnormal completion status for MS Exchange, Active Directory, Azure AD, Email Perimeter solution, eFax/RightFax, Mobile Device Management solution. * Provides status reports to management. * Maintains instructional and informational documentation to help in problem solving and education of users and creates procedural manuals containing system documentation, special instructions, utilizing Office products, PowerShell, .Net, HTML/HTTP. Essential Functions Continued 15% Serves as system administrator on assigned PIM systems and projects: * Guides staff with e-mail and AD administrator functions utilizing Exchange Admin consoles, Azure AD, Active Directory tools, Mobile device management, eFax, Email perimeter solution. * Maintains communications and user interface with multiple consolidated agencies utilizing scripting tools and Office products. * Updates passwords and assigned IP addresses to servers. * Edits and checks for duplicate e-mail addresses, improper formats; notifies agencies of error messages and fixes. * Updates programs. * Debugs coding errors utilizing Remote control tools, Exchange admin consoles, RightFax, Email Perimeter, scripting languages (PowerShell, .Net, HTML/HTTP). 15% Keeps abreast of new developments in the Information Technology field: * Continues education by attending meetings, training sessions, seminars, and conferences to increase familiarity with and remain current on products, vendors, techniques, and procedures. * Attends demonstrations and exhibitions related to assigned operations. 5% Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above. Minimum Qualifications * Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college with course work in computer science or directly related fields. * Requires three (3) years of professional experience in Systems services or a related Information Technology field. Specialized Skills * Requires three (3) years of professional experience with programming and scripting systems automation, including PowerShell, .Net, HTML/HTTP, and other programming languages. * Requires three (3) years of professional support experience administering Microsoft enterprise O365 Exchange email systems. * Requires three (3) years of professional administration experience working with a large Microsoft Active Directory tenant. * Requires (3) year of administration experience working with Microsoft O365, Azure and Office products (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, etc.). Preferred Qualifications (In Order of Significance) * Three (3) years of professional experience with programming and automation scripting languages using PowerShell, .Net, HTML/HTTP, and other programming languages. * Three (3) years of professional experience using Microsoft Enterprise Exchange and email client administration. * Requires three (3) years of professional administration experience working with a large Microsoft Active Directory (AD) tenant. * Three (3) years of professional experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions and enterprise faxing systems administration. * Three (3) years of professional experience with Email Perimeter solutions. * Three (3) years of professional experience utilizing Enterprise Network tools used for Antivirus and SPAM protection, SharePoint, and Remote-Control tools. * Ability to analyze data logically and exercise sound judgement in defining and evaluating problems of an operational or procedural nature. * Ability to gain and maintain effective working relationships with associates, vendors, clients, and others. * Developed verbal and written communication skills to present technical information to others with clarity and precision.
