What you'll do... Position: Software Engineer III Job Location: 860 W. California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086 Duties: Design and develop enterprise software using Flask and React using functional design components. Design and develop modernized applications to store and process data using Object Oriented languages such as Java/J2EE applications to address legacy business use cases. Implement business features using Spring MVCC frameworks, utilizing components such as Spring Boot Web, Spring Data, Jackson, JAX-RS and JAX-WS using modern development methodologies based on Agile and SCRUM processes. Develop scripts in Python using libraries such as aiohttp and asyncio to connect to multiple internal applications for testing and validation of data within their respective systems. Implement industry standard practices for DevOps processes using GitHub, JIRA, and Slack to streamline change management and deploy new software modules. Design and deploy various Grafana dashboards to monitor the health of different microservices by visualizing key system metrics such as response times, hardware utilization and error logging. Build and execute SQL queries that extract data from different big data sources such as Hive and Big Query to build reports and support business decision making. Create and deploy streaming pipelines using Java, Python, Kafka and Clickhouse to store analytical business data. Implement ETL pipelines to maintain application health by querying and processing raw data sources to identify data discrepancies across various systems and create python scripts to sync data. Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, Information Systems Management, Engineering (any), or a related field. Position does not require specific years of experience but requires listed skills. Skills Required: Experience with object oriented design and development. Experience with scripts for automation and deploying distributed jobs. Experience with server side microservice frameworks Spring and Django. Experience with relational and NoSQL Databases including MySQL and MongoDB. Experience with data warehouses including BigQuery, Hive, and Snowflake. Experience with DevOps tools including JIRA, Slack, GitHub, and Jenkins. Experience with message queues Rabbit MQ and Kafka. Experience with monitoring tools including Grafana, Datadog, and Elasticsearch. Experience with front end technologies including React, Streamlit, and Bootstrap CSS. Experience with managed clouds Azure and GCP. Experience with Test Driven Development. Employer will accept any amount of professional experience with the required skills. Salary Range: $117,000/year to $234,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.  Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) and Stock equity incentives.
