POSITION TITLE: Sales Specialist REPORTS TO: Director of Sales COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Canyonside Labs specializes in the custom manufacturing of dietary supplements - capsules, liquids and powders. Through superior customer service, exceptional quality, short lead times and competitive pricing, Canyonside Labs is the industry-leading manufacturing partner for small to mid-sized brands. QUALIFICATIONS: * Well-connected within the dietary supplement and nutraceutical industry with strong knowledge of supply chain, operations, product development and sales in the industry; 5 years of experience in the industry preferred * Self-motivated to deliver exceptional results for both customers and the company * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Ability to analyze industry data and trends to identify new business opportunities * Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills * Strong organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment managing multiple sales projects JOB SUMMARY: This is a full-time role for a Sales Specialist with the option for an on-site, hybrid or remote working situation. The Sales Specialist will work closely with the Director of Sales and will be responsible for driving sales growth, establishing positive, long-term relationships with customers and providing excellent customer service. New business opportunities will be pursued through inside sales leads as well as direct contact with branded customers. An established book of business and connections within the branded supplement industry is preferred. DUTIES: * Identify and pursue new business opportunities within supplement industry * Work closely with the Director of Sales to develop and implement effective sales strategies in line with company goals and values * Work closely with various cross-functional teams within the company to deliver results * Create and maintain a pipeline of potential business that supports sales targets and growth objectives * Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the company, our capabilities and our processes * Respond to emails, texts, calls and other forms of communication both internally and externally in a timely manner * Learn and become proficient in the software platforms utilized by the company - CRM, ERP, Pricing, etc. WORK LOCATION: Remote HOURS: M-F 8a-5p and as required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that an employee must meet to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. * The employee may be required to stand or sit for long periods of time * The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
