Imagine a future where you manage a variety of technical projects ranging from post-construction, snagging, contingency, emergency repair, and integrity projects Join us in this role where you'll be supporting the Operations Project and Contractor Manager's project activities. You'll be working with a team that is comprised of highly skilled technical project managers working in a centralised back-office function located across our locations globally. This role is based in the Long Island Operation's office within the Operations team. Your work will have a huge impact on operations, as you'll support solving major critical technical issues, such as blade repair upgrade campaigns, foundation corrosion damages, and cable breakdowns. Welcome to Operations Americas You'll be part of Regional Support where you, together with your colleagues and the global generational projects team, will develop, facilitate, and implement projects for the Americas operating assets as their local specials project manager. You'll play an important role in: * managing a variety of technical projects ranging from post-construction and snagging, contingency, emergency repair, rectification, integrity, and improvement projects * supporting and acting as local point of contact for the region and site managers regarding technical and operational matters for operational speciality projects * managing cross-portfolio initiatives to increase transparency on risk and value/cost levers, and performing optimization and standardization, e.g., on HSE, procurement, legal, etc. * working closely with the global generational projects team to develop, facilitate, and implement projects for the operational Americas operating assets * ensuring continuous improvement of project delivery on site by capturing lessons learned, feeding them to support functions, and assisting with the update of processes as necessary * developing strategic initiatives and plans to further reduce the O&M costs throughout the region. To succeed in the role, you: * have at least five years of relevant work experience, preferably in the offshore energy or maritime sector * hold a bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent experience in a technical or supply-chain discipline * have the ability to lead and motivate other participants who hold deliverables within the scope, and ensure timely and high-quality deliverables from them * demonstrate a collaborative approach and the ability to deliver as an internal service provider to other branches of the execution business * are a strong team player able to motivate others to assist in delivery of their own objectives * are assertive and able to make sound decisions based on available information.
