Job Summary/Description: This position works to build and execute on-air, online, and streaming weather forecasts for KGNS+ Spanish-speaking audiences during the weekdays. KGNS is looking for a Meteorologist or weather anchor for our Telenoticias Spanish Newscast to round out our award-winning team of on-air journalists. This person will be a leader in the newsroom and the ideal candidate is a self-starter who will help contribute to our content on all platforms. This is a high-profile role at a dominant, legacy news station. This position covers PM weather shifts in addition to filling in on other shifts and shifts with severe weather coverage as needed. This position works closely with the weather team to create content for our live streaming platform, mobile apps, and social media.
