No external candidates or non-City employees will be considered Responsibilities Perform a variety of administrative duties in support of human resources functional areas which includes classification, recruitment, examination, selection, and payroll. * Assist management staff with position requisition, recruitment, and selection process. * Update job specifications and performs periodic classification reviews as requested. * Perform special research and participates in special projects. * Coordinate scheduling and receipt of pre-employment physical examinations, psychological tests and background checks as required. * Monitor department use of HRIS, generate queries, investigate employee-generated requests/issues, and identifies problems and concerns. * Coordinate performance evaluation process for civilian and sworn personnel. * Perform additional human resources duties and support functions. * May be asked to perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications * Requires an Associate's Degree * Minimum of two (2) years of related experience * A combination of education and pertinent experience may be considered * A valid driver's license is required.
