Summary We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Executive Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team. This role is critical in providing comprehensive administrative support to our legal team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the department. Responsibilities: * Administrative Support: Provide high-level administrative support to the Chief Administrative Officer, Corp Secretary, & Chief Legal Officer and other senior legal employees, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements. * Document Management: Draft, review, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reports. Maintain and organize confidential legal files and documentation. High level of competency with DocuSign. * Legal Research: Conduct preliminary legal research and gather relevant information for ongoing legal matters. Assist in the preparation of briefs and other legal documents. * Client Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders, handling inquiries and facilitating communication between the legal team and external parties. * Meeting Coordination: Organize and coordinate meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and ensuring follow-up on action items. * Project Management: Assist in managing and tracking legal projects and deadlines. Ensure timely completion of tasks and deliverables. * Compliance and Reporting: Monitor compliance with legal regulations and company policies. Prepare and review reports as required. * Office Management: Oversee office supplies and equipment for the legal department. Manage budgets and expenses related to legal activities. Qualifications: * Education: Associate's or bachelor's degree in legal studies, Business Administration, or a related field. Paralegal certification is a plus. * Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an executive or legal assistant, preferably within a corporate or legal environment. * Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal research tools. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Expertise in legal technology for contract management and document administration. * Knowledge: Familiarity with legal terminology, principles, and procedures. Understanding of corporate governance and regulatory requirements. * Attributes: High attention to detail, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
