Assistant Athletic Director QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree required. Administrative License or Certified Athletic Administrator Certificate preferred. * Credentials to obtain an Ohio Pupil Activity Permit. * Experience working in High School/Junior High athletics. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: * Successfully fulfill all duties required to support the Athletic Department with the daily tasks. * Duties may be added or adjusted based on situational needs. GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE OPERATIONS * Member of SCCS Athletic Council. * Assist special events coordinator (Hall-of-Fame, Signing Day, etc.) * Administrative management oversight for all Junior High sports. * Daily attendance check for student-athletes grades 7-12. * District representative of the Junior High at OHSAA and GWOC meetings * Assist (Liaison to) JH Principal and AD with athletic discipline issues * Facility site manager and other duties as assigned. * Evaluate Junior High Coaches * Collaborate with Human Resources on approval and certification of all coaches for grades 7-12 FINANCE AND BUDGET * Assist department revenue/expense management for grades 7-12 * Manage all pay-to-participate revenues. * Keep Athletic Director informed on account balances. * Prepare game ticket/cash box for grades 7-12. * Reconcile all ticket sales and cash proofs, log revenues, and complete ticket revenue forms for grades 7-12. FACILITIES * Assist HS AD in the reporting and repair of JH athletic facilities/ * Provide facility set-up/breakdown guidance to JH Athletic Site Manager. SPORTS INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION * Responsible for schedule, roster, and story management for all JH communication that is posted on boropanthers.com * Oversee sport operations for online schedule and roster management. SPORT OPERATIONS * Successful audit all quarter grades as required for preseason eligibility for grades 7-12. * Manage weekly eligibility reporting program. * Responsible for specific schedule management, confirming games and officials, and payment of officials. * Sport coverage duties. * Assign and manage all administrative duties for employing game workers. * Schedule all Junior High athletic contests which include: cross country, wrestling, competition cheer and track meets. Re-schedule scrimmages and games for football, volleyball and basketball. * Maintain and organize inventory of all JH sport equipment and uniforms CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT: Effective Date: 8/1/2024, time commitment and hours vary depending on sport scheduling.
