Tutor Western Rockingham Middle School Qualifications: * Associate Degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college or university * Ability to explain concepts effectively to students * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with classroom teachers and students * Ability to work with students individually and in small groups Responsibilities: * Provides supplemental academic assistance to students * Conducts instructional activities assigned by the content teacher with individual students or small groups * Collaborates with content teachers regarding the progress and individual needs of students * Collaborates with the content teacher to deliver differentiated instruction for students based on available local and state student data * Assists the content teacher in preparing instructional materials * Maintains appropriate records and reporting tools regarding services and student progress * Attends required training sessions to learn strategies for working with students * Participates in staff development programs to improve job performance
