We're looking for an experienced Senior Social Media Manager that will help cultivate and scale the Commerce Cloud brand globally through our social media channels and keep a pulse on trending conversations and community insights, with a key focus on social campaigns and content. In this role, you will develop and implement social-led and integrated campaigns and content crafted to reach decision-makers and ultimately increase awareness, consideration, and adoption of Commerce Cloud. You will lead the process end-to-end, including editorial, developing strategies, tracking trends, writing post copy, collaborating on creative direction and content development, and reporting, with a core focus on B2B & B2C audiences customers and partners. You will partner closely with internal teams like Content, Creative, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Events, and work closely with our social and influencer agency partners. Responsibilities & Impact * Share responsibility for the global social media editorial calendar, campaign and content creation, publishing, and reporting. * Develop a global Commerce social media strategy that aligns with key business and marketing objectives. * Stay tuned to market signals (competitive messaging, trends, etc) within the Commerce landscape to identify opportunities to surge marketing efforts and inform social programs and content. * Own social-first and integrated social programs (paid and organic) end-to-end, including: drafting inspiring briefs, setting objectives and key results, creative ideation, collaborative content creation (writing, utilizing creative templates, etc.), go-to-market program planning, implementation, reporting, and optimization * Share responsibility of request intake process, editorial calendar, publishing, and reporting * Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners to develop social campaigns and content that help us reach our goals * Be the bridge that weaves together threads of a story across multiple platforms to drive awareness, consideration, and adoption of Commerce * Make key day-to-day decisions on social content development that deliver on the overarching commerce social strategy and brand guidelines * Support the Senior Group Manager in building a plan for scaling to commerce audiences in key global markets * Work directly with our social and influencer agency partners and partner with account leads at key social platforms (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube) to identify new activation opportunities * Understand the pulse of the social landscape and identify insights and opportunities to help keep Commerce at the forefront of our audiences Required Skills * 7+ years of experience independently leading social marketing programs that drive business results * Consistent record of creating innovative storytelling and engagement approaches for a global audience * Ability to effectively communicate and build trust with executives and drive alignment with cross-functional teams * Extensive knowledge of the social landscape with a passion for creating fresh ideas * Collaborative and used to working with many cross-functional partners * Experience leading creative and media agencies, and partnering with internal creative teams * Must be able to prioritize, adapt, and multi-task without compromising attention to detail * As comfortable developing high-level strategies as leading tactical execution * Forward-thinking and well-organized Data and community obsessed Comfortable with an iterative, test and learn approach * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * High sense of urgency to respond to critical business * Curious, analytical, innovative, and wildly creative - with the execution skills to make it happen Accommodations If you require assistance due to a disability applying for open positions please submit a request via this Accommodations Request Form.
