As a Content Developer, you support internal communications, events, and brand building for the company. In partnership with our communications team, you will play a key part of developing creative content and programs that can help to improve the value of our brand. Your Focus / Responsibilities: Cross-departmental support and ad-hoc projects shouldn't come as a surprise to you and you should approach each task methodically and enthusiastically. You'll be integral in playing the role of storyteller, producing short and long form style content across various channels from PowerPoints to podcasts to social media, you'll be the expert in crafting creative and audience-appropriate content to fuel engagement for our employees, with a focus on our retail/sales team members. * Cultivates an understanding of our brand voice to develop fresh, compelling ideas that emphasize our values of performance, collaboration, celebration, integrity, and innovation. * Leverages strong written and design skills to prepare, create, and publish a wide variety of media. * Present your work to a wide audience and be open to new perspectives and ideas. * Manage confidential internal information. * Have superior project management and time management skills to meet strict deadlines. * Collaborate with the internal functional teams on various initiatives. * Create agendas, PowerPoint presentations, graphics, surveys, podcasts, blogs, website and social media content and other documents as necessary. * The ability to work with internal functional groups, executive leadership and other business partners, is critical. * Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in both the wireless industry and digital media. * Partners to develop LinkedIn strategy, executes posts and manages community engagement. * Assist with filming, editing, and producing videos recorded both in-person and virtually * Collaborate weekly with multi-media specialist and communications/events manager to plan upcoming events. Education/ Experience Requirements: You should be a strategic thinker and diligent planner with a passion for innovation. Top-notch written and verbal communication skills are also important. Experience in the media or the corporate sector is a plus. This role also requires a foundational understanding of company policy and procedure, along with: * 2-4 years of content development experience * Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media/Film or a related field is preferred. * Content creation samples required. * Strong analytical skills. Planning and process orientation is a requirement. * Ability to collaborate and work well as part of a team. * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Creative Cloud applications. * Experience handling videography or production equipment * Intermediate skills in both photography and photo editing * Eye for good composition and graphic design * Experience with online content delivery platforms * You will be a team player and accepting of helpful direction and design critiques. You must love creating great content (including video!) * The ideal candidate will be able to confidently produce videos from start to finish, sometimes with little to no assistance, and deliver the files to the clients in a timely and professional manor. * Must be excited and willing to learn with a positive attitude * Proficient with the Adobe Creative Suite * Proficient with Microsoft Office * Proficient with both Mac & PC Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those which must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
