Contract Manufacturing Supply Planner Glanbia Performance Nutrition Join this dynamic team focused on delivering better nutrition for every step of life's journey The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated Contract Manufacturing Supply Planner to manage relationships and supply for assigned categories and suppliers. Utilizing software, you will develop a six-month Master Production Schedule (MPS) to ensure targeted inventories of finished goods are maintained, achieving order fill rates and customer service goals while meeting working capital objectives. This permanent position will report to the Senior Manager-Contract Manufacturing and duties include but are not limited to the following; * Develop and Maintain Supply Outlook: Create and manage a six-month supply outlook for assigned categories, ensuring target inventory levels are maintained. * Production Scheduling: Interface with contract manufacturers to maintain a 16-26 week production schedule and communicate plans to cross-functional partners. * Resolve Supply Planning Exceptions: Identify and resolve supply planning exceptions through prioritization, re-allocation of inventory, and safety stock adjustments. * Analysis and Improvement: Conduct detailed analysis for planning and fulfillment metrics, identifying root causes for non-performance and driving improvement initiatives. * Continuous Improvement: Seek opportunities to enhance supply planning techniques and participate in projects to advance processes, efficiency, and cost management. * Commercialization Projects: Manage supply and material planning for commercialization projects with contract manufacturers. * Decision-Making: Adjust production schedules to meet inventory targets and resolve supply chain disruptions. * Process Improvements: Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels. The Skills you will bring to the team * Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. * 2+ years of experience in a CPG supply chain role or equivalent. * Experience with MRP systems, especially JDA, preferred. * Strong understanding of planning systems and their impact on inventory and service levels. * Solid knowledge of planning processes within an MRP environment. * Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. * Advanced Excel skills preferred. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. * Basic negotiation and influence skills, with the ability to use tact and diplomacy.
