Job Description Summary Responsible for the continuing engineering and technical support that follows release of requirements, specifications, and drawings for fabrication, assemble, testing, and delivery of an end-product. Works under general supervision. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action; a certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Assists in streamlining the process of taking plans for a product from development and into full-scale production. * Develops a timetable and plan for production, assess prototypes, and research potential material sources. * Makes recommendations for improvements to the product from the perspective of production. * Participate in decisions about the purchase of new processes and/or manufacturing equipment, and in training for workers to ensure a quality product. * Provide technical and customer support following the release of product specifications and requirements. * Daily availability to include evenings and weekends when necessary to reach goals and deadlines. * Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
