Job Summary Summary: The Production Artist is primarily responsible for creating production-ready image files. This is a fast-paced, micro-manufacturing environment, as multiple orders are received and processed daily. The Production Artist will be expected to work quickly and efficiently with an eye for detail while utilizing the latest software and techniques. All job functions will relate to the production of Legacy Touch Keepsakes consumer orders. Qualifications: * Bachelor or Associate degree in Graphic Arts, Design, or Fine Arts * Minimum 1 year experience in production art or work-related experience * Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop Actions a plus * Minimum 1 year of production art experience * Proficient with iMac Computer * Minimum 1 year experience with Wacom tablet and pen * Adobe InDesign a plus * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Word, and Excel * Customer service focused and professional attitude * Ability to solve problems, prioritize, multi-task, and take direction * Ability to work in a team environment and interact closely with team members * Work under limited supervision * Goal oriented, with exceptional time management and organizational skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * High level attention to detail Essential Duties/ Responsibilities: * Use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to produce production-ready image files from originals * File cleanups, layouts, and traying based on workflow assignment, customer specifications, and established company guidelines * Set text according to job order parameters, inscription guidelines, and working within templates * Review file specifications and ensure quality and accuracy prior to releasing files to QC * Train to engrave precious metal keepsakes according to customer specifications and established company guidelines as needed * Set machine and laser parameters and load files based upon defined settings * Responsible for access to company safes and compliance with all procedures related to access when engraving * Ability to follow verbal/written instructions and production orders * Mastery of actions and macros to minimize keystrokes and optimize efficiency * Demonstrate effective teamwork skills by knowledge sharing * Ensure production file deadlines and expected ship dates are met * Team daily target goals and individual performance times must be met or exceeded * Compliance with standard operating procedures to perform the functions of the job * Gain full knowledge of functions of the automated Fulfillment system to perform daily tasks * Advise Production Supervisor/Manager of work status, workload, problems, and progress as related to orders * Represent department and the organization favorably and in accordance with Company standards and associate attributes at all times * Other duties as assigned by management
