The Data & Analytics intern role involves designing and implementing sophisticated data pipelines to meet the increasing demand for data. Working closely with the Data & Analytics team, you will gain hands on experience in designing, creating, and managing extensive datasets. You should possess strong business and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists in developing optimal data solutions. Knowledge of designing data warehouses and data lakes for reporting and analytics is essential. Candidates must be available to work for 12 months following their hire date. Full-time working hours during the summer and part-time availability throughout the school year. Responsibilities: * Design, construct, and execute efficient and reliable data pipelines for data movement and transformation. * Develop data models for optimal storage and retrieval. * Implement comprehensive data quality checks to ensure data integrity. * Enhance existing pipelines for optimal system resource utilization. * Take full ownership of the data engineering aspects of the solution. * Engage with business teams to gather requirements and understand processes. * Work with analysts and data scientists to devise analytical solutions. * Document and maintain a catalog of data assets and pipelines. * Keep abreast of new technologies for creating data-centric processes and services.
