Seamstress About the Role We are seeking sewers to join on manufacturing team in Hickory, NC. As a sewer you will support in the fabrication of our custom vascular product. This role will require the ability to follow written work instructions and produce a variety of different products. We utilize stand up sewing machines at our Hickory facility and the role will regularly require being on your feet. What You Will Do * Seam and/or fabricate a variety of products using one or more types of sewing machines. * Inspect product for defects and handle appropriately, as required. * Ships product per customer order, as required. * Perform cutting duties as required. * Maintain appropriate records. * Performs other duties as assigned. Who You Are * High school education or GED preferred * 5 to 10 years sewing experience, if no high school diploma * Must be able to read, write and speak English; required for the safe and effective performance of the job. * Must demonstrate high degree of seaming skills with the ability to learn many different machines and processes, producing high quality results. * Must be able to inspect garments for defects compared to established standards.
