Employment Type: Part time Shift: Description: The purpose of this position is to assist Mercy College of Health Sciences' students with specialized instruction in their areas of expertise. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Assists students on a one-to-one or small-group basis to provide learning assistance. * Collaborates with instructors to assess the students' needs and how best to address them. * Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: * Completion of a particular course in which assisting is being done with earning at least a "B" from a higher education institution. * Strong interpersonal communication skills and ease in relating to people from varying educational, cultural, and social backgrounds. * Strong level of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality. * A copy of unofficial transcripts must be uploaded with application.
