SENIOR QC INSPECTOR SUPPORT - S3 SUMMARY Inspect incoming electronic assemblies, subassemblies, parts, and components for defects by performing the following duties. Final QC Inspection on all finished products e.g., Airborne, High Wattage TWTs, kits, etc. Perform Manufacturing Floor CAL, ESD, shelf life and process audits. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for incoming inspection of raw material e.g., PCBA's, electronic component, sheet metal modules, cables and sub-assemblies using Drawing or Assembly instruction (AI). Perform routine visual inspection under low power microscope (1.5 - 40X Magnification) identifying solder defects per workmanship standards, (IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001, whichever is applicable). This includes visual dimensional inspection of cables. Final QC mechanical, visual, workmanship, color, Inspection of product to confirm compliance to BOMs. Drawings, correct labels & placement of labels and RF testing meets specification before releasing to be shipped to Customers. Define, measure and evaluate each level of the process and identify areas where corrective actions are required to improve quality. Interface with production, mechanical engineering or engineering departments to resolve problems that are related to printed circuit boards, modules, cables and sub-assemblies. Discrepant product must have timely DR written & taken to the MRB or Quality Management for disposition unless it has a Customer Approved waiver. Regular and predictable attendance required.
