Digital UX Designers at Resideo are experienced hybrid designers, equally comfortable blending traditional UX and visual design skillsets with a high bar of quality and attention to detail. We are looking for someone with experience leading redesign and/or design efforts for large-scale B2B eCommerce platforms with a proven track record of measurable impact. You'll be involved in all aspects of experience design, working with a small team to research, ideate, and design digital products and experiences that have a real impact on our customers and our business. Your projects will span from small-new features or optimizations of existing experiences-to large-a redesign of our customer facing websites-and you'll be involved throughout the process from planning to launch. You'll work closely with the Product, Marketing and Engineering teams to make sure all your work is grounded in strategy and drives measurable results. Job Duties: * Focus on hands-on UI/UX design for digital products and services * Create wireframes, prototypes, and design specs necessary to guide development of product experiences * Develop new design concepts, frameworks and interaction models * Ensure digital UX designs are compliant with relevant accessibility guidelines * Collaborate with internal and external teams on product strategy and requirements * Create user flow diagrams, design annotations and other high-level UX documentation * Share work in-progress daily and articulate design decisions * Participate in and support user research initiatives * Help develop and maintain design systems and supporting documentation * Partner with product managers on business goals, product roadmap, requirements, and functional needs * Ensure the final product maintains a high standard through visual QA in collaboration with engineering. * Ship, measure, and improve your designs based on quantitative and qualitative feedback You Must Have: * 6+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of relevant UI/UX work samples * Experience designing large-scale B2B eCommerce platforms * Understanding of Accessible design principles * Fluency working with the latest design and prototyping tools (specifically Figma) * Experience creating, using and/or managing design systems with proven understanding of responsive web & mobile application design and wireframe development We Value: * Experience with user interface design patterns and standard user-centered design methodologies * Ability to distill complex problems into simple and effective solutions * Background in or exposure to various user research methods * Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills * Team player mentality with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback * Intuitive design instincts with the ability to track into research-driven processes * Ability to self-manage and maintain momentum in times of ambiguity * Thoughtful, systematic and highly organized * Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams * Experience working in agile and lean methodologies What's In It For You: * Resideo is a large matrix organization, so this is a great opportunity to hone your skills around driving results across cross-functional teams * The opportunity to collaborate in a diverse, large organization while gaining a depth of knowledge * Enjoy work-life balance with generous vacation time that can be scheduled with manager approval based on business priorities and personal needs, without pre-set maximums * Immediate eligibility for Resideo benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and 401K * In compliance with applicable law, Resideo provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be performed in New York. Actual compensation is influenced by various factors, including, but not limited to, skills, experience, the specific office location, and pay differences based on the local labor market.
