Job Title ARCHITECT / ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER II Who We Are Food Tech is a design-build firm that plans, designs and constructs food plants across the country. Food Tech specializes in planning, engineering, and building food process plants and cold-storage warehouse and distribution facilities for food processors, distributors, retailers, wholesalers, and more. Job Summary We are seeking an Architect / Architectural Designer II with experience in the design of industrial and/or commercial facilities and ideally in the design of food production facilities including knowledge and experience in hygienic design principles, sanitary design, insulated cold storage design, and overall building envelope design. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Production of Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents in Revit. * Coordinating with structural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines in Revit. * Coordinating with process and packaging equipment drawings Revit. * Preparing design criteria and bid packages for pricing by subcontractors. * Performing submittal reviews, RFI responses and field visits. * Proficiency in Revit * Knowledge of Navisworks. * Knowledge of Procore. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Team-oriented, positive attitude. * Ability to multi-task and be involved in multiple projects. * Knowledge in AutoCAD * Proficiency in MS Office suite Qualifications * Bachelor of Arts/Science with a concentration in Architecture or related 4-year degree. Five year Bachelor of Architecture Degree or Master of Architecture a plus. * Five+ years of relevant experience and Architectural experience in food production a plus. * Willingness to travel to project sites, estimated 10-15% time We offer competitive compensation packages commensurate with experience.
