Job Title: Construction Field Safety Coordinator (Lebanon, IN)
Location: Lebanon, IN
Duration: 24 Months (Immediate Start)
Type: 1099 Contractor
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $45-48/hr overtime after 40
- Perdiem: $115/Day perdiem
- Completion Bonus: $150/month
- Pay: Weekly
Schedule:
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 10-hour days. 50hrs/wk Some weekend work
Project Scope:
The Construction Field Safety Coordinator will oversee the safety of a new pharmaceutical building project (JSAs, Site Walks, Audits, safety enforcement, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in construction safety management
- Certifications: Current OSHA 30 certification
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations.
- Provide safety training as needed.
- Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices.
- Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence.
- Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required within the manager's skills and certifications
Skills:
- Excellent public speaking and communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- OSHA outreach training experience is a plus.
- Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction, with the ability to communicate these effectively.
