00015 Store Support Center LE_301 Hibbett Retail, Inc. SUMMARY The Senior Analyst, Programmer is responsible for managing all technical and security aspects of one of Hibbett I City Gear's systems, acting as the primary support outlet for this system. Researches, analyzes, revises, and develops programs for a particular system. Performs technical analysis, design, system application support, and software development for Hibbett I City Gear. Collect and combine data from different sources in assigned system to create reports for metrics, analysis, and supporting business partners throughout the company. Collaborates with business partners in IT to plan and execute the implementation of new applications, application enhancements, and issue resolution. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensuring assigned system does not have production issues, solving any production issues found by creating resolutions and mitigation of issues. Carrying out production support for system. Analyze and correct software failures. * Extract data from assigned system for analysis. Analyze data to ensure systems are working correctly and necessary processes like syncing systems or data is working properly. Extract data for reports for business partners. Extract data for clean-up. * Perform all technical aspects as the sole technical resource. * Perform all actions related to one of Hibbett I City Gear's systems' security. * Support Store Operations from a technical and security perspective related to Hibbett I City Gear systems. * Manage different systems, create, manage, and delete accounts and users from systems, keep trach of access level of users for IT audit. Conduct user audit control. * Support HR, Payroll and Accounting, and any other departments related to assigned system with technical and reporting needs related to Hibbett I City Gear systems. * Support IT systems areas. Gather, organize, and communicate to IT business partners for the purpose of business customers (status, issues, etc.) * Translate business capabilities to solutions. Identify application gaps and identify when new solutions are needed. * Document testing results. * Develop and build processes that are reliable, including integration processes. Peer review developed or revised programs and processes. Continuously monitor processes. * Perform role of application architect, review requirements documents, approve technical specifications, perform testing, and quality assurance. Analyze, design, and develop programs. Enhance or fix existing functions and programs. Support implementation of modifications in QA and production environment for assigned system. * Interface with business users and management and self-manage production and project work activities. Involved in project estimation. * Perform management of third-party labor. Manage hardware and software vendors. * Participate in on-call rotation and after business hours on-call availability is required. * Review requirements, approve technical specifications, and perform testing and quality assurance. * Train users and programmers on assigned system and any changes or enhances. * Advise management of best solution in achieving request results. Share programming best practices knowledge with others on the team. Participate in meetings to review future application enhancements or new development. * Design and implement projects related to assigned system. * Protects the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience. * 4 or more years of experience development and programming. * Experience working in a retail environment. * Strong organizational skills, prioritization, and communication skills. * Demonstrated leadership skills. * Ability to conduct analysis, identify trends, draw conclusions, and look for solutions and improvements.
