Job Description: We are seeking a talented and versatile Lifestyle and Silhouette Lead Digital Editor to join our creative team. The lead Photo Editor is responsible for ensuring visual consistency and adherence to the brand's style guide for all retouched images across e-commerce, retail, marketing, and advertising. This role requires a dynamic individual who can not only edit and amplify stunning lifestyle and silhouette photographs but also collaborate with our internal Buyers and Marketing teams, coordinate outsourced art, and curate artwork filtered in from our Manufacture and Factory partnerships. This is an incredible opportunity for someone to blaze an elevated path for the AFW brand and fully own the process and output of our product visuals for awesome representation within our website, in-store consumer experiences, print ads, mobile marketing, streaming tv and beyond. Your masterpieces will live and be highlighted across all advertising mediums and channels. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of aesthetics, and excellent organizational skills. You must have sharp technical skills and creative thinking skills to produce images that draw attention to our product's features. Starting Pay: $55,000 - $63,000 Core Responsibilities: * Selecting and Organizing Images: Sorting through a vast collection of photos to choose the most suitable ones for editing. * AI: Understanding and fearlessness in utilizing new AI Techniques to enhance image quality, augment existing assets allowing more time to focus on artistic vision and creative process. * Create multiple versions of assets: background changes, color changes, etc. * Editing and Retouching: Applying various editing techniques to enhance and refine images. * Communication: Collaborating with photographers and creative teams to understand project requirements. * Organization: Understand and implement correct naming conventions and sizing of images as required. * Meeting Deadlines: Managing time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver polished images promptly. * Staying Updated: Keeping up with industry trends and emerging editing techniques. * File Management: Organizing and archiving edited images for future reference. * Quality Control: Perform quality control checks for outsourced editing and or freelancers. * Independence: Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment independently and as an integral part of a team. * Video editing a plus! Experience and Essential Qualities: * Experience: Degree in Photography, Graphic Design, or related field preferred or relevant work experience. * Creativity: The ability to envision and execute creative editing concepts. * Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in identifying and correcting imperfections. * Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom, AI platforms, and 3D experience a plus. * Organization: Strong understanding of digital file handling, color management, and file formats. * Communication: Effective communication with photographers and cross-departmentally to understand full vision. The ability to collaborate well with people at all levels is essential. * Problem-Solving: The capacity to troubleshoot and find solutions to editing challenges. * Time Management: Efficiently managing time to meet deadlines. * Furniture experience a plus! * Multi-tasker with a positive, flexible attitude and ability to pivot easily. * Editing photographs ranging from studio product shots to on-location interior design shots. * Editing from RAW images to color correct, adjust exposure and contrast, correcting distortion, compositing where needed, removing imperfections, etc. * Ensuring that images of products match the physical products across all photoshoots.
