JOB TITLE: Building Manager JFNTMP JOB PURPOSE: Assist customers with Union, campus, and Laramie information and assist with any events as needed. JFNTMP ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Answer any and all questions via phone, email, and in person * Know where accurate information can be found and how to access it * Support/maintain the lost and found * Understand emergency procedures and assist Public Safety and other departments in the proper implementation of such in the event of an emergency * Utilize computer skills * Utilize University of Wyoming email accounts as a way to communicate with colleagues and professional staff members * Assist the custodial crew with cleaning and snow removal as needed * Oversee and close the Union * Open the Union * Hourly building rounds * Knowledge of UW campus and city of Laramie * Assist with setting up events as needed * Assist with projects around the Union as needed * Other duties as assigned COMPETENCIES: Teamwork, Independence, Integrity REMOTE WORK ELIGIBILITY: This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or GED and current University of Wyoming student DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Strong inter-personal communication and customer service skills as well as possess a high degree of attention to detail * Ability to work with little supervision * Ability to problem solve, work as a team player, and manage multiple priorities * Reliability, accuracy, and flexibility related to work schedule * Desire to learn and adapt to an ever-changing environment * Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time and assist in lifting/moving equipment and supplies * Dependable and personable. DETAILS: * 10-20 hours per week * Hours availability: Monday-Friday: 7:00am-11:00pm, Saturday: 9:00am-10:00pm, Sunday: 12:00pm-7:00pm * Morning, day, evening, and weekend work will be required. * Pay rate: 12.00 per hour REQUIRED MATERIALS: Complete the online application and upload the following for a complete application: cover letter, resume or C.V. and contact information for four work-related references.
