The Department of Psychiatry and Neurobehavioral Sciences at the University of Virginia has an opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on addiction studies in Dr. Wendy Lynch's laboratory. The Lynch Lab uses behavioral, pharmacological, and molecular techniques to delineate the neurobiological basis of addiction, with particular interest in determining the biological basis of sex differences in vulnerability to addiction. Qualified candidates must have a doctoral degree, preferably a PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or biological sciences by the appointment start date. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel is strongly preferred.
