Are you skilled and knowledgeable in Math, Science, Business, English or another subject? Do you want to help students become successful in these subjects as well? If so, this might be a great opportunity for you.  You will tutor, track and report progress, and fulfill other duties as assigned.  The private tutor works one on one with students K-16 providing academic tutoring assistance, tracking progress, reporting to program coordinator, and fulfills other duties as assigned. * Tutor students one-on-one. * Records notes from tutoring sessions. * Communicates with program coordinator.  * Other duties as assigned. * Must be a current UVU student * High School Diploma or GED required. Proficiency in tutor topics. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of experience tutoring or studying the subject. * Advanced knowledge in math, science, business, or English. * Advanced knowledge in other areas such as languages, social sciences, etc.  * Effective verbal and written communication. * Skills and abilities communicate and work well with diverse students. * Ability to work independently with dependability. * Ability to maintain accurate records for official files. * Commitment to follow through with assignments, schedules, and appointments. * Ability to be professional in all interactions.
