This position is intended to assist students enrolled in anatomy and physiology by providing support in the anatomy and physiology open labs and/or instructor-conducted labs. Hours will vary according to open lab hours (afternoon/evenings) and/or instructor lab hours. Looking for student worker who is able to work at either the Main Campus or Akron location. This is a NON Federal Work Study position * Work under the direction of the Biology Lab Technicians to assist students that visit the open labs. * Master the anatomical terminology associated with the cadavers and other models. * Assist in setting up and cleaning up the A&P lab and the process of signing students in and out. Applicant must be enrolled as a Stark State student, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, have successfully completed BIO121, BIO122 or BIO123 with a minimum of a B in the course(s) and be recommended for the position by a Stark State anatomy and physiology instructor. Ideal candidates should have good communication skills, a willingness to help others, and be comfortable working with cadavers.
