What You Will Do: * Production Support: Works with production technicians in investigating machine downtimes. * Provide Technical Solutions: Performs basic technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects. * Preventative and Productive Maintenance: Generate and Perform Maintenance tasks, instructions, and scheduling for production equipment and tooling. * Project and Task Presentation: Prepares charts, graphs, or diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, or machine utilization * Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment historical and maintenance data. * Troubleshoot: Perform troubleshooting and modifications on hardware, fixtures, and tooling to resolve issues and enhance system performance. * Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repair and maintenance of various mechanical and electromechanical systems and components/assemblies. * Ensure Specification Compliance: Verify that systems and components/assemblies meet established specifications and quality standards. * Handle Complex Tasks: Perform more involved tasks, escalating complex issues to higher levels as necessary. * Assist in Design: Support engineering with the design and development of tooling and fixture prototypes. * Construct, Maintain, and Test Systems: Build, maintain, and test mechanical and electrical/electronic systems and components/assemblies to ensure they meet operational standards. * Production Routings: Update/Create Routers for Standard Processes * Tooling Inventory: Works on Spare Parts Inventory and Control. * Continuous Improvement: Participate in Kaizen projects/events. Qualifications You Must Have: * Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. * Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position. Qualifications We Prefer: * Experience with machine maintenance, troubleshooting both mechanical, electrical and electronics equipment in a manual or automated operation. * Knowledge in Total Productive Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance. * Knowledge in Machine Guarding and Energy Control Procedures. The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 83,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
