What you'll be responsible for: The Billing Manager position will encompass critical thinking skills, confidentiality, data analysis and in-depth evaluation. This position is responsible for assisting in leading the billing team. The Billing Manager is responsible for implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, streamlining billing processes, and supervising the team's performance. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and effectively manage the teams. What you'll work on: * Oversee entire revenue cycle billing process * Execute duties including but not limited to: charge entry, patient calls, reimbursement management, insurance verifications, claim submissions and account receivable follow-ups * Audit processes and procedures to optimize workflow * Streamline procedures and collaborate with departments to ensure accurate and timely billing to patients and payers * Plan and structure goals for team workflow and staffing * Analyze and report trends on coding, charges, accounts receivable, and collections * Maintain appropriate controls and review mechanisms of Revenue Cycle Management billing process * Work with management and team to maintain department's quality of service * Ensure educational trainings are provided to newly hired and existing team members * Establish regularly scheduled meeting with team to discuss reports, metrics, and any applicable presentations to leadership and provide effective feedback * Perform other duties as requested from the VP of Revenue Cycle Management * Look for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is met. * Performs other duties and responsibilities as required * Conduct one: one meeting with auditing and coding team regarding performance, goals, and professional development * Supervise Billing Specialists What you'll bring to Access TeleCare: * Associate's degree in business administration or a related field preferred; bachelor's degree Preferred * Minimum of 3-5 years' experience leading a team * Management experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred * Experience in (Athena), charge capture system, and/or EMR preferred * Solid understanding of Auditing, Billing, Coding and EMR * Previous experience developing workflows * Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology * Must also have a focus on regulatory and billing requirements. * Ability to maintain confidentiality * Must also have a focus on regulatory and billing requirements. * Negotiation skills to effectively deal with patients, finances, and securing payments * Understanding of state and federal employment regulations * Excellent communications skills (written and oral) as well as demonstrate the ability to work effectively across departments * Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft office programs, communication, and collaboration tools in various operating systems * Ability to work effectively under deadlines and self-manage multiple projects simultaneously * Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills * Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment * Ability to thrive in a high growth fast paced organization * Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time * Ability to work overtime and irregular hours when needed Company perks: * Remote Work * Health Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision) * Health Savings Account * Flexible Spending (Medical and Dependent Care) * Employer Paid Life and AD&D (Supplemental available) * Flexible Paid Vacation, Wellness Days, and Paid Holidays About our recruitment process: We don't expect a perfect fit for every requirement we've outlined.
