Department: 752000 Pathology Lab Svcs Expectations: Transcribes, coordinates and maintains pathology reports in conjunction with associated secretarial and quality assurance functions. Works with minimal supervision and is involved with coordination of workflow and instruction of other employees. This position may require flexibility of hours. EDUCATION: Any combination of training and experience equivalent to graduation from High School, medical secretarial courses at junior college or trade school level; and three years of office experience EXPERIENCE/TRAINING: Pathology transcription experience preferred SKILLS: Thorough working knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-9 coding.
