Job Description * Lead the Quality Assurance teams for new product embedded software development. * Define, specify, and implement software quality standards and procedures for new software following Quality Management System e.g. ISO 9100. * Lead software verification and validation efforts for compliance to DO-178 process. * Write test plans, test procedures, and test scripts for software verification ensuring that products meet internal and external customer requirements. * Lead customer and third-party audits. * Collaborate with systems engineers, safety engineers, software engineers, and test engineers to execute verification of software requirements. * Lead non-compliance investigation, root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to completion. * Monitor/manage new program metrics and facilitates efforts to drive continual improvement. * Execute on customer, operations, or new program deliverables in accordance with contract requirements. Provide input on new product design related to quality. Skills * Experience programming in C * Experience with software validation * software testing of various systems is required * Experience with VectorCAST is a required * Experience with some/little code development * Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System * Experience or knowledgeable of AS9100 quality management system * Experience working with radios, Ethernet switches/routers, and power supplies for ground vehicles * Experience in DoD industry About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
