Overview of the Senior Director of Marketing and Communication role We are seeking a Senior Director of Marketing and Communication to join our growing team. This role with have one direct report and will report into the Vice President of Growth. The Senior Manager of Marketing and Communication should have experience in a high growth, start-up environment with a proven track record of building and implementing marketing strategies, both internally and externally. Responsibilities of the Senior Director of Marketing and Communication * Leverage understanding of healthcare and the population we serve to develop internal and external marketing plans, communications, content (provider documents, brochures, press releases, byline articles, blogs, presentations, etc.). * Collaborate with the business team to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally * Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations * Understand key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for marketing team * Own and manage the Wayspring website and social media sites (LinkedIn and Facebook) * Source, attend and/or participate at conventions, conferences, and tradeshows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and providing post-event reports and analysis * Understand and foresee internal and external risks and deploy communication strategies to protect Wayspring's reputation in alignment with company values.
