Responsibilities Perform the duties of a staff pharmacist under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. * Under direct supervision, maintains proper narcotic documentation and ensures proper distribution of narcotic medications. * Under direct supervision, ensures appropriate selection of dosing, administering and monitoring of medication. * Dispense medications accurately for delivery to patient care areas. * May compound medications. * Assist pharmacists with maintaining and monitoring patient profiles. Provides medication information and education to medical staff and patients. Requirements Licensure / Certification / Registration: * Licensed Pharmacy Intern credentialed from the Florida Department of Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date preferred. Education: * High school diploma equivalency OR Enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline. Additional Preferences No additional preferences.
