Our employee-owned and integrated team of multi-disciplined engineering, design, and planning professionals has an opportunity available for a Graduate Civil Engineer! As a member of our team, you will work alongside multi-disciplined engineering (civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural), design, and planning professionals to design a variety of roadway and utility projects within the Twin Cities metro area and throughout the State of Minnesota. This role is a mix of office and field work as you will become engaged in the full life cycle of projects from conception through construction. You'll gain experience in feasibility studies, designing for a variety of different municipal projects, community engagement and construction supervision. We are seeking a professional who currently resides or plans to relocate within a regular commuting distance of our office in Saint Paul, MN. Required Qualifications * Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering * Previous experience or interest in Municipal / Utility or Transportation Engineering. * Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to apply effective verbal and written communication skills when writing specifications and reports, participating in project team discussions, and interacting with clients and contractors. * Valid driver's license Advantageous Qualifications * 1 to 3 years of experience developing construction documentation for roadway design, utility, grading and drainage, and stormwater management projects. * Previous experience conducting on-site inspections and construction observations for municipal or transportation projects. * Engineer In Training Certification or interest in attaining within 6 months of start date. * Previous experience as a member of a multi-disciplined project team. Upon acceptance of a conditional offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to complete a standard pre-employment background screening, which consists of Social Security verification, educational verification, review of criminal convictions, and driving history.
