The Opportunity As a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, this role will play a pivotal part in supporting our Heart Failure, Neuromodulation, and LINGO business units within the Medical Devices division. The expertise in talent acquisition will drive recruitment efforts, ensuring top-tier candidates who align with our mission and values are attracted. Join us in shaping the future of healthcare! Location: This role will be based in either our Austin, TX or Plano, TX office What You'll Work On * Lead and manage a diverse team of full life cycle Recruiters across multiple locations, supporting all business functions * Establishing credible relationships with senior leaders and hiring managers, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in talent acquisition * Deploying cutting-edge sourcing and candidate engagement tactics to attract top talent * Leveraging technologies, social media, and other recruiting resources to identify qualified candidates * Personally recruiting for leadership roles and other critical positions as needed * Developing and implementing processes and practices within the division, aligned with global strategic direction * Ensuring compliant hiring practices, utilizing best practices within Abbott's Applicant Tracking System * Leading regional and global projects to drive future talent acquisition initiatives Required Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience * Minimum professional experience: 8+ years of core TA experience with a minimum 3 years of in-house TA experience in a matrix environment. 2+ years of people manager experience * Subject matter expert in developing marketing campaigns and direct sourcing strategies to engage, attract, and nurture passive candidates * Team leadership experience over individual contributors, acquired in a matrix and global environment Preferred Qualifications * Functional experience: Full-cycle recruitment experience in healthcare or in adjacent industries and across main functions: commercial, manufacturing, scientific, and corporate function * Strong technical aptitude, data analysis and storytelling skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills The base pay for this position is $125,300.00 - $250,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
