Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reservoir Engineer to join our Non-Operated Subsurface Team to oversee our Marcellus asset. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in reservoir engineering and economic analysis, be able to support acquisition and divestiture (A&D) efforts, be self-motivated, be creative in problem solving, be organized, and foster strong working relationships. This role requires technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. This role will work closely with our corporate planning, geology, and non op land team to ensure success in our non-operated endeavors. This position is located in Houston, TX. Hybrid work schedule is an option for remote work on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary commensurate with experience. Essential Job Functions * Generate periodic technical subsurface reports to increase companywide understanding of the reservoir system in the Marcellus * Support acquisition and divestiture (A&D) efforts by conducting technical evaluations, due diligence, and economic assessments. * Analyze production data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and recommend performance areas across the basin. * Predict well performance for new well development projects and maintain type curve models and ranges for each area in the basin. * Utilize data analytics and machine learning to support the team in making quicker and more accurate decisions on evaluations. * Provide forecasts for planning and budgeting. * Evaluate economics of investment decisions and conduct a look back process to evaluate capital efficiency. * Evaluate well economics for new drilling opportunities and valuations for leasing. * Forecast future production for reserve valuations. * Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to recommend capital workover projects. * Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders. * Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in reservoir engineering. * Participate in the identification, assessment, and negotiation of A&D opportunities to optimize the company's non op portfolio. * Drive subsurface technical studies including the selection of appropriate models, tools, automation, and techniques. * Additional duties as needed by management and Company operations This job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities of the position. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering * Three (3) years of exploration and production experience * Experience in evaluation and development of unconventional resources * Strong team building skills and ability to communicate effectively across all functions in the organization * Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment; flexible with the demands of a growing company * Ability to meet deadlines * Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
