The Center for Academic Advising & Retention is recruiting for multiple Student Advisors. This recruitment has the potential for multiple hires made from the pool of qualified applicants. The Center for Academic Advising & Retention is recruiting for a Student Advisor 1. * Multiple positions available As a Student Advisor 1, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic success and personal development of students at Eastern Washington University. You will work closely with students to provide guidance on course selection, academic planning, and career exploration, ultimately helping them achieve their educational and professional goals. Student Advisors collaborate with students and campus partners to support students' persistence, degree completion, and connections to EWU. Professional advisors foster student growth and independence through an appreciative inquiry and developmental advising model. Professional advisors build and maintain strong relationships with advisees to provide holistic and proactive wraparound services to all students based on their individual needs. This position requires a passion for student success, strong communication skills, and a dedication to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment. The salary for this position is $40,019 (minimum) up to $48,027. Where the hired candidate will begin within this range is dependent on education, experience, and skills. In addition to salary, the university offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, life and disability insurance and retirement.
