This role falls within the Global Marketing and Communications team and will drive value by discovering insights and making recommendations for maximizing business success. Bring your expertise in quantitative marketing research, statistical analysis, and report writing to make a difference in transforming diabetes care. Responsibilities include: * Lead and/or be a major contributor in the design and execution of analyses to test hypotheses and improve commercial effectiveness * Synthesize findings, develop recommendations and communicate results * Create engaging reports and present findings to stakeholders to help cultivate a highly informed, more effective, and more strategic organization. * Conduct ad-hoc analysis and provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making processes. * Assist in managing fieldwork (in-house and with 3rd party panel companies) * Perform data analyses using raw data files (via SPSS, MiniTab, Excel, etc.) and interpret results to drive business decisions * Program/Implement surveys using one of two survey design platforms * Performs analyses in the areas of customer and/or target profiling, product preferences, market potential, marketing practices, message optimization, and/or identifying consumer/customer trends (among other areas of investigation) Must Have: Minimum Requirements * Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis and report writing with a Bachelor's degree or 2 years of experience in data analysis and report writing with a Master's degree Nice to Have * Bachelor's or Master's degree in social sciences, statistics, or marketing/business management * A passion for understanding consumer behavior and an unrelenting drive to understanding the reasons and motivations behind it * Expertise in statistical methodology and analyses; Training in statistics, including proficiency in a stats software packages such as SPSS and/or SAS * Strong analytical thinking and writing skills * Ability to work independently as well as with cross-functional teams * Experience using survey design software platforms (i.e., Qualtrics, Medallia, Sawtooth, SurveyMonkey, etc.) * Working knowledge/use of database management tools (e.g., MicroSoft Access, SQL, etc.) * Experience in medical device and/or consumer goods/consumer insights Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$87,200.00 - $130,800.00 This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
