POSITION SUMMARY As the Safety Manager, you will provide leadership for the planning, implementation and operation of the organization's Safety Management System (SMS). You will be responsible for supporting the evolution of the safety culture, empowering employees and reducing work related injuries and illnesses. You will manage, facilitate, direct and support safety objectives and goals and ensure that employees work safely and follow all safety policies and procedures. * Develop Safety and Health programs, systems and processes, including training and coaching to establish clear expectations and procedures * Responsible for effectively driving sustainable implementation of Corporate, Division and local initiatives via hands on leadership, digital tools, coaching and teamwork * Drive compliance with local, state, and federal safety requirements and maintain OSHA 300 Log and internal reporting as required * Study data and trends to implement safety campaigns * Provides technical expertise and coaching as needed in all areas and partners with other key functions on initiatives including Engineering, Operations, HR, Quality, etc. to deliver on goals and plans * Organize, coordinate, and conduct training for Safety Committee on safety topics and current safety programs in the plant * Utilize Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) principles, tools, systems and processes to enhance performance * Develop and lead the Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) pillar for the site during TPM implementation * Ensure effective injury case management process is fully implemented, well understood and functioning as desired and provide customer service for all employees with inquiries in the areas of safety to include, but not limited to, Workers' Compensation, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), etc. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health or business-related field * 3+ years of experience in a safety or compliance role within manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment * 2+ years of leadership experience The approximate pay range for this position is $76,000 to $120,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
