Operating on a global scale, they have a presence across EMEA, North America, and APAC, with offices in London, McLean, Singapore, and Melbourne. They advocate for remote-asynchronous working while maintaining vibrant office hubs. The Role My client is seeking a dynamic Senior Market Research Analyst to join their growing North American team in McLean, VA. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive quantitative and qualitative research that enables clients to achieve their business and marketing objectives. Your research will focus on identifying the most effective creative advertising and media strategies that drive customer perception and action. As a Senior Market Research Analyst, you will design and program surveys, manage fieldwork, and analyze survey data to provide strategic recommendations on messaging, media effectiveness, audience targeting, brand tracking, and how to best optimize media strategy. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment, where adaptability and creative problem-solving are key. Responsibilities Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify research needs and commission structured research projects. Lead project execution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outputs that align with the research brief. Select and apply appropriate research tools and techniques, combining quantitative and qualitative analysis. Design and commission surveys, conduct consumer sentiment analysis, and manage data collection using their proprietary platform. Oversee panelist recruitment, ensuring data quality and a representative sample. Analyze and interpret research results, generating clear, actionable insights. Define target audiences and identify optimal channels for reaching them. Develop client-facing reports on creative effectiveness, competitive landscapes, and market opportunities. Present research findings and strategic recommendations to clients. Requirements 3+ years of experience in a data-driven marketing role, either client or agency-side. 2 + years of proficiency in SQL functionality A degree in a relevant field such as applied quantitative studies, social sciences, psychology, communications, or marketing. Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights. Willingness to learn new technologies and platforms, including scripting languages. Ability to craft clear, unbiased surveys that generate meaningful data. Exceptional storytelling skills to present complex data in a concise and impactful manner. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional presentation and communication expertise. Ability to work in the McLean, VA office at least 3 days a week. You will stand out if you have ( desirable experience ) Proficiency in Spanish, as well as fluency in other languages like Japanese, is highly desirable. MRS certification or accreditation. Experience with statistical techniques such as cluster analysis or factor analysis. Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, R, or Python. Experience in managing databases, including SQL query optimization. Familiarity with generative AI tools for research and workflow optimization.
