DESCRIPTION The Worldwide Public Sector National Security Team (WWPS, NATSEC) is part of AWS Sales which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing market segments in support of the National Security. We work backwards from our customer's most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to- market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWPS teams include account leaders, business development specialist, delivery experts, and technical solutions architects. As part of WWPS, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. Key job responsibilities As a Senior Sales Executive for the United States Space Force (USSF) Customer, you will own the relationships, sales motions, account planning and execution, and revenue attainment for an exciting and diverse set of USSF Customers. You will obsess over your customers by Diving Deep on their missions, programs and objectives, enabling Guardians to be Mission Ready. Responsibilities include working closely with AWS Partners, Emerging Technologies Teammates, AWS Professional Services, and Service Teams across AWS. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a robust Sales Pipeline across your Customers' enterprises. Working closely with the AWS Air Force Team in the establishment and management of Customers' AWS accounts will be critical to efficient and timely account provisioning and delivery. This position requires that the candidate selected be a US citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS * 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience * 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience * Experience positioning and selling technology to new customers and new market segments * Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS * 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience * Experience developing detailed go to market plans * Experience identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals * Specific knowledge of USSF Missions and Programs is beneficial. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
