What We Need: We are seeking an intermediate-level Data Engineer with experience in SQL, Redshift, Python, Airflow, Hive/Spark, and Kafka. The ideal candidate will also have nice-to-have experience in Terraform, Ansible, AWS, and Elasticsearch. The main role of this position involves writing and maintaining data pipelines and managing and maintaining the data warehouse along with the data infrastructure. What You'll Do: * Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines. * Manage and optimize data warehouses (e.g., Redshift) to ensure performance and scalability. * Work with large datasets using SQL and Python for data manipulation and analysis. * Utilize workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow for job scheduling and monitoring. * Implement and manage big data technologies like Hive/Spark for efficient data processing. * Integrate and handle real-time data streams using Kafka. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions. * Ensure data quality and integrity through comprehensive testing and validation. * Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines and processes. * Provide support for data-related issues and troubleshoot problems as they arise. * Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible (nice to have). * Leverage AWS services for cloud-based data solutions (nice to have). * Utilize Elasticsearch for search and analytics solutions (nice to have). What You'll Need: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * 3-5 years of experience in data engineering or a related role. * Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets. * Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Redshift. * Strong programming skills in Python for data processing and automation. * Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow. * Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hive and Spark. * Experience with real-time data streaming using Kafka. * Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible (nice to have). * Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (nice to have). * Knowledge of Elasticsearch for search and analytics (nice to have). * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
