Responsibilities: * Ability to identifying lithology, alteration and mineralogy associated with gold systems * Work with the Growth Team to develop resource and reserve opportunities * Target development and definition drilling * Plan and lead drilling programs * Collection of geologic data, mapping, sampling, RC chip and core logging * Ensure data integrity and implementation of QAQC procedures * Data synthesis, compilation, and geologic interpretation to support targeting * Support drill program execution and ensure zero harm * Deliver regular progress reports and presentations, ensure key stake holders are kept up to date on project progress * Provide input for geotechnical, metallurgical, and hydrologic studies * Interpret downhole televiewer data and apply to drill targeting * Prepare and present annual budget materials * Other duties as assigned Qualifications: * Bachelors of Science degree in Geology or Geological Engineering required * A minimum of (3) years of experience in mining geology preferred * Ability to use standard geological computer packages required * Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of position required * Experience with Leapfrog, Acquire, WellCAD or other mining software preferred * Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs required * Ability to demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills required * Ability to work within a team environment and excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills required * Ability to take initiative on projects and work independently required * High level of organization and attention to detail required * Demonstrated commitment to a safe work culture, ability to work safely, and completion of projects in an environmentally responsible manner required * Ability to follow company policies and procedures and ensure fellow employees/contractors follow company policies and procedures required What We Can Offer You * A comprehensive compensation package including bonuses benefits, and stock purchase plans where applicable * Ability to make a difference and lasting impact * Work in a dynamic, collaborative, progressive, and high-performing team * Opportunities to grow and learn with the industry colleagues are endless * Access to a variety of career opportunities across Nevada Gold Mine locations * Nevada Gold Mines is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer
