Your Impact: The OSP Construction Inspector oversees, inspects, and monitors contractual fieldwork, which includes excavation, boring, placement of hand holes, aerial strand and fiber cable installation, grounding, and monitoring restoration of work areas per client's standards. Core Responsibilities: * Handle construction inspector duties in Council Bluffs, IA area and willing to travel * Experience with construction and all aspects of inspections Specific duties may vary or evolve based on business and client needs. Core Experience * Self-managed and can take work from beginning to end * General construction knowledge and understanding of construction terminology * Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills. * Willingness to learn new skills, software, and technologies * High attention to detail. * Motivated to learn the business * High School diploma or equivalent * Ability to pass a drug test * Ability to take ownership of questions and work to an answer * Ability to conduct face-to-face meetings/communications with construction teams * Construction experience with prints, equipment, etc. * Previous experience in an OSP construction inspection role (preferred) Physical/Work Environment At Pearce, safety is our number one concern.
